Oyatsu Box Review

Hello again! I'm back with another monthly subscription box to review and this time, it is Oyatsu Box, another company that ships directly from Japan. There are 3 kinds of Oyatsu Boxes to choose from, namely: Dagashi box, Washoku box and the Premium Box. Each box costs $25 and is of free shipping worldwide except the Dagashi box which costs only $14. The box they sent me was the Oyatsu Premium box and here are its contents.

( Also, Please Buy Me Coffee if you want ❤ )

Their premium box typically contains 10-14 full sized treats and a premium gachapon and for that month, it was Pokémon. For those who are interested in their other boxes, the Dagashi box contains traditional Japanese sweets and a DIY Candy kit while the Washoku contains instant ramen, senbei, cakes, tea and coffee from Japan.

The Oyatsu Box was actually plain red but the only part that can be seen in that picture is the inner part haha. Just before seeing the contents, you can find their card for that month along with the information about the snacks they sent you on its back side.

The first items I got were a Monster Hunter energy drink flavored candy (left), a gacha (middle) and a Splatoon Gummy in orange and melon soda flavors. I personally preferred the orange (orange) flavored over the melon soda one (green) since the melon tasted too artificial. Like I mentioned a few paragraphs before, each premium box contains a premium gachapon and that month's contained Pokemon due to Pokemon Go's rising popularity. The pokemon I got was Samurott (or whatever it is called in your country xD ).

Here's a picture of Samurott. Oshawott was my starter at that time too :'D Pokemon Black and White were the last Pokemon games that I played because I couldn't afford a 3DS and my family wouldn't get me one even for my birthdays :(
Anyway, back to the main point...

Next up were my 3 most favorite foods in the box! On the left we have Calbee Saporro Potato chips,  which were made from potatos from Saporro and flavored with 9 vegetables. They were very delicious and tasted a bit like stir-fried vegetables on butter.

On the middle we have, UFO chips , the new corn puffs taking Japan by a storm! They are flavored after the iconic UFO Yakisoba noodles. It was slightly hot and spicy with a very meaty taste. It was the best.hands down.

Lastly, on the right, we have Umai Strawberry Bites which are classic Umaibo style potato bits infused with sweet strawberry chocolate. These ones really smelled good. The strawberry flavor was also noticeable so I really enjoyed it a lot.

Next up we have the PRETZ Butter sticks on the left. Each box comes with 2 packs of pretz sticks. It tasted like your regular pretz sticks but with a strong creamy and slightly salty butter flavor. I really liked these a lot!

On the middle, we have Petit Chunichi Dragons which was like a very cute and small version of pringles in chicken wings flavor. They might be smol but their flavor is strong and it's perfect for people who wants to control their portions.

Lastly, we have Big Bar Z , a crunchy chocolate flavored biscuit in right corner. These were really really delicious. I rarely like chocolate flavored things since I prefer real chocolate but I think these pass my standards since it has more chocolate flavor than biscuit flavor ( don't you see what I mean? xD ).

Next, on the left we have Pineapple Gummy , a chewy but tough pineapple-flavored gummy. It had 6 gummies neatly placed in a plastic container in it shape. I found it difficult to get out of its case xD.

The middle one,  Puchitto "Shari" Ramune , is a bubble shaped candy with fizzy Ramune flavor. However, rather than Ramune, I think it tasted more like bubblegum. But hey, that's just my opinion.

The one on the right corner is the Nom Nom Sherbert. It has a sweet banana flavor and felt like eating yogurt. Before eating it, it is advised to freeze them for a bit to make it taste better. I actually really loved this one since it didn't taste that artificial. It was also easy to freeze and defrost .

Lastly, the one on the bottom is the Mintia- Calpis mints which were my favorite among the four. It contained 50 very small mints that you can directly get from the square part in the bottom left area.

That's all for the stuff they sent me. Don't forget to check their sites below:

Taste Japan Review

Hi everyone! Today, I'm gonna review something different from what I usually do - a Japanese Snack Box called Taste Japan! For those who don't know, Taste Japan is a subscription-based box that delivers assorted snacks and candies straight from Japan for just £15. They accept any currency and ships worldwide. Each box weighs approximately 400-650g. Here's what I received..

( Also, Please Buy Me Coffee if you want ❤ )

These were all the snacks found inside the box (yellow alpacasso plush not included xD ) . I received 8 kinds of mouth-watering Japanese snacks. The folks over at Taste Japan were very nice and friendly. If I recalled correctly, they're a bunch of British people living in Japan so that's also the reason why they use British pounds as their main currency. They do accept any other currency as it is automatically converted after paying.

As soon as I opened the box, I was immediately greeted by this quite large Japanese potato chip snack xD. It really caught my attention and piqued my interest to the contents of the box. In the bottom most part, I saw a pamphlet containing the theme of the Month and details about the various snacks inside it.

Tan Shio is a Japanese Potato Chips that tastes like Gyūtan or grilled beef tongue. Prior to knowing what it is called or supposed to be flavored after, I thought that it tasted like salty and slightly tangy Barbecue chips. It wasn't very special for someone like me who lives in a country full of delicious barbecues but I was hooked! The more I ate, the better the flavor got. I couldn't stop digging in and ended up consuming the whole bag in just a few minutes.  I could have been a bit biased because I LOVE BARBECUE  but these chips were certainly delicious.

The next one I found was this Neko Atsume Snack Box. I think they were caramel or milk cookies (but I could be wrong xD ).They were very soft , chewy and sweet ; just like how Japanese people like their food to be. It was very delicious but in my opinion, the chewiness kind of made me like it less so I tried freezing it but it ended up bad hahaha. I love it's taste tho!! I'm just not a fond of chewy food since it takes more time to eat.

Next we have the ever so popular milky candy, Milky. If you're constantly being exposed to Japanese media, culture and references, you've probably come across this face at least once. Peko-chan ,the girl on the box, is the mascot for Fujiya Co. Back to the main topic, I've always wanted to try Milky candies but they are unreasonably priced in our grocery store so was very happy when I saw this in the box. The candies were wrapped in a paper with different design colors. The candy tasted like powdered milk or condensed milk. I found the candies too sweet for my liking.

Next up we have the Hello Kitty Nodoame. Nodoame literally translates to "throat candy". It has 4 flavors inside it : green -(green apple), pink/red- (strawberry) , dark purple- (grapes) and yellow- lemon. Out of all the 4, my favorite was the green apple. It had a very refreshing taste compared to the other three which were more acidic and sour..especially the yellow one (obviously xD ). I carried it around to school and it was really helpful since I could just pop one out whenever I want.

Next, we have the Bubblicious which is a brand of chewing gum that comes in many flavors. In all honesty... I absolutely found the flavor I got to be disgusting. The smell wasn't that good to me too and I couldn't stand it. I gave it to my friend who said that "It was delicious" and that she liked both the taste and the smell..... I guess people just have different tastes after all hahaha.

This time, we have the Sekoiya Choco Peach. I originally thought that it was strawberry just because it was colored pink. However, I was already skeptical of it since the time when I smelled it and it didn't emit that sweet strawberry scent. I've never, ever tasted Peaches in my life before so I don't know if this is good or bad but I definitely didn't find it that delicious.

Next up , we have the Puccho Hoppechan which are hard, cherry-flavored gummies inside a convenient resealable bag. I actually didn't understand this candy at all. They were sweet but a bit sour. I couldn't tell what it tasted like and I had to look it up to know what these even are. They were also very hard to chew so I gave up eating them and re-sealed the bag again xD.

Lastly, we have this very intriguing chocolate called Hore Hore Choco. I obviously can't read Japanese save for the basic Hiragana and Katakana but I could tell that I was supposed to dig into the container and look for gummies. I tested my hypothesis and "clawed my way out of it" My fingers got dirty in the process but it was a fun experience and I'd love to do it again.

These were all the gummies I found except for the diamond I already ate. At the back of the packaging, there was a point system where you are given a certain number of points for each kind of gummies you find. Some gummies are rare than the rest. Surprisingly, I managed to find a dinosaur which was one of the 2 rarest gummies. This was the total of my excavation: dinosaur fossil- 300,000,000 + sword 100,000,000 + diamond- 100,000,000 + crown 50,000,000 + scroll 950,000 = 550,950,000 points!

That was all for the contents the box Taste Japan sent me. If you want to get one, subscribe to their box over here and be sure to check their social media pages below. Until next time!

Cutiekill Review: Harajuku Black Lolita Cross Lace Doll Dress C00529

Hi guys! I hit 10,000 page views on my blog today! (ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧
Aside from that, I'm also here to introduce, CutieKill , one of my favorite shops that I promote! This store is known as @cutiekill.official on instagram and they sell lots of  cute, elegant and beautiful Harajuku fashion items. This is their Harajuku Black Lolita Cross Lace Doll Dress that they sent me.

( Also, Please Buy Me Coffee if you want ❤ )
Don't forget to se my code "berrylonely" for 10% off $30!

Price: $64.99
("berrylonely" for 10% off)
Sizes: S-M
S: Length: 80cm/31.49" | Bust: 86-90cm/33.86"-35.43"
M: Length: 82cm/32.28" | Bust: 91-96cm/ 35.82"-37.79"

CutieKill is run by three lovely girls named Ariel, Coral and Wendy. They are all very sweet, cute and fun to talk to. They give off a warm and friendly vibe that shows just how approachable they all are. You would really never feel intimidated with them and they always try their best to answer your questions.

The package was sent via DHL so it took 2 days to arrive to me after they sent it. Sadly, I was extremely unlucky and had to pay more than $20 for customs T^T . ( Don't worry, this doesn't happen that often.) Underneath the DHL pouch, the contents were wrapped in black plastic. Inside it, the dress was neatly positioned and folded in a transparent plastic with a cute sticker of their shop.

CutieKill also included a cute hair tie as a freebie and wrote a sweet handwritten letter (which I forgot to take a picture of (._. ) The dress had a removable collar so you can create your own style with it. It also came with a detachable ribbon so you can decide whether or not you want to tighten the dress around your waist area.

Ratings:

Design: 5/5 ★★★★★
The dress has a very cute and elegant theme in it. It looks like it was designed with a nun as inspiration but made much more cuter! I really like how it looks as it can be used for gothic looks as well.

Quality: 5 /5 ★★★
. The dress is made of very fine material. It was heavy and even weighed 1kg xD. The laces were so pretty and they didn't have any problems. I could tell that this could last for a very long time if you take good care of it.

Comfort: 5 /5 ★★★★
It really feels nice and comfortable and it isn't too hot to wear. My only issue is that it is SHORT. Just as the description says, it is only 80cm or 31.49 inches long. I know some people like their dresses shorter but I'm really not used to it. It'll look cute with cute stockings tho!!

Price: 1/5 ☆☆
I'm going to be completely honest here.. I think it is too expensive ^^" I could buy a full cosplay costume with many accessories with this price. However, they have other products that are a lot more reasonable that you might want to check out.

Overall: 4/5 ★★★★
I highly recommend CutieKill if you're looking for cute clothes and accessories. They are sweet, nice and very reliable. I know I might have been unlucky and had to pay customs ( it was partly my country's customs' fault) but this doesn't really happen often.
